Take-aways
Situated at opposite ends of the beach and open daily weather permitting they offer a wide range of freshly prepared foods, from the traditional Cornish pasty to freshly baked baguettes with a choice of fillings made to order.  Whatever your tastes you are sure to find something you like.

Shops
There are two shops on the beach both offering a wide range of Cornish Ice creams, teas, coffees, hot chocolates and cold drinks.  The shops also provide a vast range of beach goods from the all important bucket and spade to diggys, boogie boards and wetsuits.  Need a deckchair/windbreak or parasol no problem these are all hired out on a daily basis from our shops.

Juice Bar
The Juice Bar, situated on the golf course, has been serving made to order juices and smoothies for the last four years.  During the summer months thirsty beach-goers are revitalised by a wide variety of fruit cocktails, made from 100% fresh fruit.  Independently run by very friendly staff , the Juice Bar provides a healthy watering hole to be enjoyed by any visitor to Porthminster Beach.

Chalets

Situated beneath the steep slopes of Porthminster Point, right on the beach with panoramic views across St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse.  Porthminster Beach currently has 36 chalets which are available to hire on a weekly or seasonal basis.

Our chalets offer daytime freedom for all the family to store their beach goods and to come and go as they please.  Each chalet comes equipped with two deckchairs. Further items such as parasols and windbreaks can be hired daily or at a special weekly rate from the shops located on the beach.
